The shop is very well-maintained, and the staff is friendly—from the front desk to the mechanics, who are clearly very knowledgeable. They had me in and out quickly. This is the best auto shop experience I’ve had in a long time!

If I could rate them 100 star I would. I am not related to anyone there. I’m 68 yr old woman just drove from LA and needed an oil change. I called 12-31-25……… JAN. 1, 2026 I was scheduled. Yes, New Years DAY. In my opinion, this is THE AUTO REPAIR Shop every woman wants to know of. I had such peace I asked them to look at another issue I had ignored. They ran me home and offered to pick me up once the job was complete. IF YOU READ NO FURTHER- My experience and trust in this business is A+ The PRICE of oil change was half the price of other places I called. The employees and owner- All 3 men that spoke with me were POLITE… respectful and courteous. The reception area was COMFORTABLE. The garage (and the ladies room) was CLEAN & ORGANIZED. Both appeared ready for a photo shoot ! The music was RESPECTABLE The PRICE - of the additional work was very fair based on the opinion of a mechanic friend in Gr Rapids. . I believe the owner‘s name is Steve and he offered me coffee, turned up the heating unit to take the chill out of the room and asked what I would like to watch on their huge large screen TV. I have NEVER received such customer service in my life! I thanked Jesus for leading me to this facility. I just wish I was staying in KY .

My wife and I have been carefully searching for a dependable used car for our daughter, and finally found one that might work for us. But we needed to get a pre-purchase inspection performed to make sure it was the right fit for us. I came across the outstanding customer rating for Bullitt Automotive Care. I called and spoke with Steven, and wow, what an amazing customer experience this worked out to be for us. Not only was Steven courteous over the phone, he understood our need to try and get the car inspected quickly, so that we could make a purchasing decision ASAP. He got the car in on the same day, and called me that same afternoon to walk me through their findings. His feedback was invaluable to us on making our decision on this used car. All things considered, I would rate this experience a perfect 10 out of 10 from a customer perspective. if you have absolutely any automotive needs, I suggest that you now waste your time taking you car anywhere else. The service and honesty was absolutely first rate. I fully recommend their team to address any of your auto needs!

Had my a belt and wheel alignment done on my wife's Honda Civic and I couldn't have been happier with the service. It was done in the time they said and at a fair price. The shop is clean and well maintained so I know they will have the same attention to detail on my car.

I can’t say enough great things about Bullitt Automotive Care in Mt. Washington! From start to finish, they truly went above and beyond. I had to have my A/C compressor replaced, and not only did they get me scheduled quickly, but the work was completed within a day — which was such a relief. A special shoutout to Steven, who personally picked me up and brought me back home after dropping off my vehicle. That level of customer care is rare these days, and it made the whole experience so much easier and more pleasant. The workmanship, communication, and genuine care for their customers really set this shop apart. It’s clear they treat people right and stand behind what they do. Highly skilled and professional. Great to have a shop locally to work on foreign cars. I have a 2009 Porsche and they treated me great, if you are getting your car worked on in Mt Washington and you aren't at Bullitt Automotive Care, you are at the wrong place.

This was my first visit to Bullitt County Automotive and I’m going to tell you I will be back and I highly recommend this business for all of your automotive needs. The owner not only went above and beyond my expectations. He also did something I haven’t seen or even heard anyone else say. He truly made me feel like family. The technician that worked on my car didn’t try to sell me anything but he informed me of something that I should take care of with my car. Anyways I highly suggest if u go anywhere else next time u need auto care try this place first you won’t regret it

They do free ac inspection and have a very fair price on ac repair

My son's cars transmission was showing a code for the shift solenoid A. I changed it myself and the car was still going into limp mode. That was a far as I felt comfortable with my dyi skills so I took it to this shop and had them look at it. They ran a diagnostic and broke down all the scenario's that could cause this issue and the possible cost range (wouldn't completely know until they got into the transmission). They were very upfront and honest and took time to make sure I was as informed as possible to make decision that made the most sense. Recommended that the risk outweighed the reward of getting it fixed. They could have easily just got into the transmission and started to run deeper diagnostics costing money and then finding out that the cost was more than the car was worth (which based on several indicators was likely; black transmission fluid, lots of metal shavings on the magnet in the pan and several other issue with slippage and other issues showing up on the computer diagnostic). All that to say that they were more concerned about being ethical and retaining my business for future maintenance and repairs than making money off of me knowing it would likely get to a point were it would not be economically sensible. They are knowledgeable, fair, and honest. Can't ask for much more than from a car shop. Age-old costumer care and small town relationship is refreshing.

Great work at fair price. Had a total fluid change on my 2018 Silverado. The truck has never run better. The price was a third of what a dealer charges. I will definitely have them do all my maintenance in the future.

Genuinely loved my experience at Bullitt county auto care. I’ve never been one to trust a auto shop and I prefer to do all my work myself. But there were some things that I wasn’t able to do. When I left I felt so happy with the care that I received. The way that I watched them interact and care for other customers made me certain that I had a long-term auto shop that I could trust. I never once got the feeling that they were money hungry and would knock me up for the highest price they could get. I came just to get one thing done and be on my way. Never thought that I would return back, but after lifting my Hood I realize that they changed The bulb light on my hood. I never asked them to do that and they never told me they did. But just that small thing made me feel like they really cared. I will definitely be revisiting in the Future.
